May 10, 2023Indeco By Nexans, in partnership with the Peruvian Institute for Educational Development (IPFE), rewards the children of our employees through the "Carlos Vicuña Fuentes" scholarship program. These scholarships are assigned strictly in order of merit in the categories of secondary education, technical studies, and university studies.
This year, 9 young individuals were awarded this scholarship, and in a ceremony held on May 9th, we welcomed them along with their parents and IPFE representative at our offices. Alex García, General Manager of Indeco By Nexans, shared the following:

“ (...) to provide you with an education, every parent's dream is for their children to receive a better education than they did. Value the efforts of your parents, just as your parents value the effort and dedication you put into your schools, technical institutes, or universities. Strive for excellence because education is a step-by-step process. Education is about sowing seeds every year in order to reap the rewards later on. It's not just about the knowledge you acquire from books; it's crucial to foster values at home. The values we have at home must then be carried into society to contribute to the development of our country and prepare it for future generations. Both aspects are highly important. It's of no use to be the best student if you lack values, but having the best values is significant, even if you're not the top student. Congratulations to everyone, including the mothers and fathers ”
Alex Garcia
For us at Indeco by Nexans, it is important to give back to our team with the best benefits. In that regard, the Carlos Vicuña scholarship aims to provide support and motivation for our employees and their families.
