We are part of the Andean Business Unit made up of Chile, Peru and Colombia.
Our company in PERU has its factory and headquarters in the city of Lima, serving the entire national and international market in Latin America and the Caribbean.
We are certified under the ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and OHSAS 18001: 2007 standards with the Bureau Veritas (BVQI) certificate, in order to define and regulate the structure of the Company's Comprehensive Management System, its development, implementation and application, determining the commitment of the general management and all the personnel with the quality, environment, industrial safety and occupational health.
History
INDECO, was established by Public Deed dated May 19, 1952, by two Peruvian engineers, Jorge Cánepa Campodónico and Alejandro Tabini Fernández Dávila, whose main activity is to dedicate themselves to the manufacturing industry and elaboration of all kinds of electrical conductors, communication and articles related. ISIC code 3130-4.
In 1967, Cerro Corporation of New York, subscribed a large amount of capital in shares, becoming the majority owner of the company Cánepa - Tabini, and promoting the development of Indeco. In the next 25 years, Indeco became part, first of The Marmon Group, of Chicago; after the mining company Milpo S.A.
In 1998, Madeco S.A. acquires the participation of Compañía Minera Milpo in Invercob, assuming full control of the holding company, Indeco's main shareholder.
Since 2008 INDECO has been a member of the largest manufacturer group in the world: Nexans.
